Sub: Marine Insurance Contract for the year 2014-15.

Ministry of Railways have finalized the Marine Insurance Contract for the year 2014-15 with M/s The New India Assurance Company Ltd. , E-9, 2nd Floor, Connaught House, Connaught Place, New Delhi as detailed in the attached letter.

Action may please be taken for depositing amount in CDA balance to be kept with this company and for issue of Insurance coverage of the material to be imported by IR w.e.f. 01.04.2014 (midnight). Any amendment, if required in this regard for the ongoing contract etc., changing the name of the insurance company may be processed immediately to avoid any complications duly intimating the supplier and furnishing closing particulars etc. to M/s The New India Assurance Company Ltd., E-9,2nd Floor, Connaught House, Connaught Circus, New Delhi..

Zonal Railways may please intimate the details including name, designation, contact No., email ID of the concern nodal railway official dealing with railways marine insurance business and also address for correspondence, fax no. to Railway Board and M/s The New India Assurance Company Ltd. , E-9, 2nd Floor, Connaught House, Connaught Circus, New Delhi.
