West Bengal to Restore the  54 Non-suburban Passenger Trains (27 Pairs) Services from 02-12-2020

EASTERN RAILWAY TO RESUME NON-SUBURBAN PASSENGER TRAIN SERVICES FROM 02.12.2020

Effective 2nd December 2020, Railways to run 54 non-suburban passenger services (27 pairs) from West Bengal. This information is given by Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal by tweeting this information on 27th Nov 2020. With adequate safety measures in place, this will greatly enhance ease of movement, connectivity & convenience of people of the state.

For the convenience of the commuters, passenger train services in non-suburban section of ER will resume w.e.f. 2.12.2020, a total of 54 non-suburban passenger trains (27 pairs) will be run over ER among which 30 trains will run in Howrah Division, 22 trains in Asansol Division and 2 trains in Malda Division.

In Howrah Division, among the 30 passenger train services

  • 8 trains will run in Barddhaman-Rampurhat section
  • 8 trains in Rampurhat-Gumani section
  • 2 trains in Rampurhat-Dumka-Jasidih section
  • 8 trais in Katwa-Azimganj section
  • 4 passenger trains in Azimganj-Rampurhat section

In Asansol Division, among 22 passenger train services

  • 8 trains will run in Barddhaman-Asansol section
  • 4 trains in Andal-Sainthia section
  • 4 trains in Asansol-Dhanbad section
  • 4 trains in Asansol-Jasidih-Jhajha section
  • 2 passenger trains in Andal-Jasidih section

In Malda Division, 2 trains will run over Malda-Barharwa section.

Passengers are requested to follow Covid-19 protocols.

We will update the West Bengal 54 Non-suburban Passenger Trains (27 Pairs) List, Time Table, Schedule, Route, Fare, Train No., Train Status and Day On after the announcement of the Eastern and  South Eastern Railway Press Release.

Already Eastern Railway (ER) and South Eastern Railway (SER) to Restore the  EMU Services from 11-11-2020
