VARIOUS IMPORTANT CHANGES IN THE NEW WESTERN RAILWAY MAIN LINE TIME TABLE W.E.F FROM 1st October, 2022

6 Pairs of Trains introduced and Change of Terminal / Destination in 8 trains

In the new Western Zone Main Line Time Table which came in force from 1st October, 2022 many important changes have been made to ensure better passenger convenience & comfort. Western Railway has introduced 6 new pairs of trains (including Vande Bharat train) and there is Change of Terminal / Destination in 8 trains including 02 trains having been extended. Some trains have been preponed / postponed, the list of which is provided as annexure.

New Trains introduced: –

  • Train No. 14808 / 14807 Dadar – Bhagat Ki Kothi – Dadar Express (Tri – Weekly)
  • Train No. 20961 / 20962 Udhna – Banaras – Udhna Super Fast Express (Weekly)
  • Train No. 20957 / 20958 Indore – New Delhi – Indore Superfast Express (Tri – Weekly)
  • Train No. 20901 / 20902 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital – Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Superfast Express (6 days a week)
  • Train No. 59557 / 59558 (09565 / 09566) Bhavnagar – Lunidhar – Bhavnagar Passenger
  • Train No. 59553 / 59554, 59555 / 59556 (09573 / 09574, 09577 / 09578) Gandhigram Botad – Gandhigram Passenger

Change in Terminal / Destination: –

  • Train No. 12905 / 12906 Porbandar – Shalimar – Porbandar Express will originate / terminate at Shalimar instead of Howrah.
  • Train No. 22905 / 22906 0kha – Shalimar – Okha Superfast Express will originate / terminate at Shalimar instead of Howrah.
  • Train No. 59121 (09181) / 59120 (09170) Pratap Nagar – Alirajpur – Pratap Nagar Passenger train will originate / terminate at Chhota Udepur instead of Alirajpur
  • Train No. 59119 (09169) / 59118 (09164) Pratap Nagar – Chhota Udepur Passenger train has been extended and will originate / terminate at Alirajpur instead of Chhota Udepur
  • Train No. 12009 / 129010 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital – Mumbai Central Shatabdi Express will originate / terminate at Ahmedabad instead of Gandhinagar Capital.

Conversion of Passenger Trains to Mail / Express

  • 59013 Surat – Bhusaval Express will run as 19005
  • 59014 Bhusaval – Surat Express will run as 19006
