Shramik Spl train carrying over 300 migrant workers from Nashik to reach Bhopal today
The first Shramik Special train carrying more than 300 migrant workers from Nashik in Maharashtra will reach Bhopal Saturday morning.
Second special train is running between Nashik and Lucknow.
AIR correspondent reports, both these trains will also pass through Bhopal station but there will be no stoppage in Bhopal.
The train coming from Nashik to Bhopal departed Nashik at half past nine last night. The train contains eight coaches.
Chief Public Relations Officer, West Central Railway, Jabalpur Zone, Priyanka Dixit informed that it will be mandatory for all the labourers to wear masks.
Food will be provided by the railways to the labourers in special trains running for longer distances.
Health check-up will be conducted by the concerned State Governments at the time of boarding and landing of labourers.
The special train coming from Nashik to Bhopal has labourers from several districts of the state besides Bhopal.
These labourers will be sent to their respective districts from the buses by the state government.
Officials informed that labourers will have to follow all the guidelines of lock down including physical distancing in the station premises.
Keeping in view the security of special trains, the railway has deployed RPF and GRP personnel at Bhopal station.
